The March 2017 Horse Sport Ireland International Marketing Symposium gave us a chance to rub shoulders with a prestigious array of equestrian industry professionals, customers and fellow suppliers.
With a focus on tapping into the potential of international markets, presentations were made by sportspeople, breeders, agents, journalists, marketers and entrepreneurs that included Suzanne Campbell, Nina Barbour, Diarmuid Byrne, Aisling Byrne, Erin Gilmore, Ben Hobday, Barry O’Connor, Jim Bolger, Tim Bourke, Marion Hughes, Enda Carroll and Koen Terryn.
The event provided excellent learning – including valuable tips on exporting and digital content marketing – and ample networking opportunities.
With Brexit looming, the development of a strong export strategy is now more important than ever.
